Black Pearl Art Academy is a Bermuda-based creative sanctuary offering immersive painting and drawing experiences for all ages and levels, with a focus on teens and adults.
Blending strong technique with expressive freedom, our customized workshops, private sessions, and events are designed to inspire connection and creativity. Each experience seeks to help people deepen their connection to themselves, to nature, and to the world around them.
Founded by artist and educator Sarah Pierroz, each experience is guided with intention, depth, and over 20 years of international expertise.
We believe art speaks where words cannot, by telling stories, honouring culture, connecting with the natural world, and revealing rare and often overlooked beauty.

Join us for a joy-filled portrait session where perfection is optional and personality is everything. Bring your favourite leading lady: your mum, grandma, auntie, best friend or come as any duo or group ready to turn observation into imagination.
Paint each other’s portraits!
Create portraits that may or may not reveal a family resemblance (no guarantees!), rediscover the art of making each other smile like you did as a kid, and maybe even see yourself through your mum’s eyes, on canvas. It’s all about laughter, connection, and a little creative chaos.
